Telling Yahoo’s branded content story

The brief: Design and implement a new identity for Yahoo’s Branded Content initiative – The Storytellers.

The approach: This was the first time we were incorporating our Tumblr offering, so it made sense to build our new site using a customised Tumblr theme. The combination of Yahoo and Tumblr data – along with all the 3rd party data we had access to as a team – meant data played an incredibly strong role in our creative process.

The result: This website! Built and hosted on Tumblr. The Verizon takeover happened shortly after we launch our new identity, and we became RYOT Studios. But, for a few glorious months, we were The Storytellers…
